May 24-28

So I saw Robin Hood on Monday and it was absolutely fantastic! Kevin Durand and Scott Grimes were my favourites in the film and both Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett gave very solid performances.
Because Monday was Victoria Day in Canada there was no mail. Tuesday was also disappointing not only because I did not receive anything but my mom bought something from Ebay which had 4 DO NOT BEND stamps on it which was... you guessed it... bent and forcefully shoved in the mailbox. Said envelope was actually an early birthday present for me (a John Hannah autograph) so we are both very peeved!
I did get a great success today from Colin Salmon who has been in several Bond films (with Brosnan) and an episode of Merlin which was why I wrote to him! He signed my photo, sent me his own and wrote a very sweet note on the back which I will show here:

On Thursday I received two lovely replies from 2 actors from the BBC series EMMA :) Both Christina Cole and Rupert Evans signed my custom made photo cards :) They actually look quite awesome. The reason I did custom photo cards for them is that I couldn't find high quality photos of them and so I had to make the images smaller. Still very happy with the result!

May 17-21

This week so far I've received 2 lovely successes. I finally received my VV reply from Anthony Head (sent to a play he was doing) which I thought I wouldn't receive back so I sent to his agency. I also received my photo back signed and inscribed from Rosamund Pike who I adore in Pride and Prejudice and An Education! Plus I just love the photo I chose, it's so beautiful with the flowers!

I also got hooked on Lomography (a kind of photography) and bought myself a Diana Mini camera and some film as a graduation/early bday gift for myself :) Once I get it and start taking photos, look for them on this blog soon!

Alright so on top of getting Anthony Head (one of my most wanted) I also got a huge surprise in the mail from a friend and fellow collector! And on Friday I received another lovely surprise from Richard Wilson who re-signed my completely smudged photo :) He's amazing n'est pas?
